The Aequora program is sustained by enthusiastic volunteers all over the country who care about making a difference and want to fight educational inequality through sharing their love of Latin. Our many volunteers allow us to work with students in small groups and create democratic, collaborative working environments. Many of our after-school sites are run by high school or undergraduate volunteers.
Below is a map displaying all of the Aequora sites currently accepting volunteers. Click on the pins to learn more about our sites. If you don't see a site near you, we encourage you to consider starting one yourself! We provide free curricular materials and training webinars to any classicist interested in teaching Latin in his or her community. We also support volunteers interested in running Latin summer programs. Please visit our Aequora FAQ page and contact us to connect with one of our sites or to learn more about the process of starting a new one.
