Call for Voice Actors

The Paideia Institute is seeking voice actors for its forthcoming Living Ancient Greek (LAG) online curriculum. LAG is a comprehensive Ancient Greek curriculum that teaches the fundamentals of Ancient Greek, from zero knowledge to reading authentic texts in the language. LAG’s grammar content is taught through a series of video lessons, which are animated dialogues between a cast of teachers and students. The students pose questions about the teachers’ lessons, and interact when they find something unusual or confusing.

Clear, expressive voices are needed to bring curiosity and humor to our lessons. Voice actors must be able to read the Greek alphabet and be familiar with the Erasmian pronunciation as well as the modern Greek pronunciation, though a pronunciation guide will be provided.

The position is short-term and remote with flexible scheduling. To apply, send a brief (1-2 paragraph) cover letter introducing yourself and your qualifications for the position, a resume, and a voice sample to [email protected]. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis as they are received.
