We Did It!
The Paideia Institute's first Capital Campaign has raised $500,000.
Exegi monumentum aere perennius
regalique situ pyramidum altius
-Horace, Carmina III.30
Funds Raised to Date: $500,000
Dear Friends of the Paideia Institute,
To borrow from the Roman Poet Horace (slightly adapted):
EXEGIMUS MONUMENTUM AERE PERENNIUS,
REGALIQUE SITU PYRAMIDUM ALTIUS
"we have created a monument more everlasting than bronze
and higher than the kingly setting of the pyramids"
I am very happy and proud to announce that thanks to your help and support, the Paideia Institute's Capital Campaign has come to a successful close. With the help of over 150 individual donors, giving gifts that ranged between $5 and $50,000, we have raised $250,000, which will be matched to create an endowment of $500,0000 to support Paideia's programming. The eleventh hour generosity of alumni, friends, family, and colleagues has been truly inspiring and humbling.
Thank you for believing in our mission of teaching the Greek and Latin languages in dynamic and inspirational ways. The establishment of an endowment means that our programming will remain a part of Classical Studies for years to come. We are looking forward to keeping each of you involved!
