Course Description: In this class participants will get not only an opportunity for conversational Latin practice but also easy extensive or binge reading of the two foundations of western art and literature: the Bible and Greek mythology. We will read Fabulae Syrae and Lhomond's Epitome Historiae Sacrae in their entirety in a short space of time, while using them to guide conversations and exercises in speaking, paraphrasing, and writing. The instructor will use and elicit all the major advanced grammatical phenomena in the form of personalized conversation and also book club. This claims aims to be an efficient adrenaline shot for your Latin speaking and reading fluency just before summer immersion event season. The instructor aims to provide a joyful and low stress environment for all participants.
