The Paideia Institute seeks a dynamic instructor for our two-week Living Latin in Rome High School summer program in July 2026. Ideal candidates will have experience teaching Latin as an active, spoken language to high school students, as well as familiarity with the city of Rome. 

Living Latin in Rome High School provides an intensive Latin experience designed to improve high school students’ Latin reading ability through the use of Latin as an active, spoken language. Teachers will live in on-site facilities with their students, teach classroom-based daily reading sessions and lead site visits throughout Rome, using a combination of in-class spoken Latin and faculty designed textbook readings. Teachers will also have pre-program duties, which include attending faculty meetings and planning curriculum.
