June 26th - July 3rd, 2022
Rome, Italy

Join fellow “Reginaldians” and friends of the Paideia Institute for a special week-long event honoring the life and work of Fr. Reginald Foster by reading and speaking Latin and visiting sites in and around Rome. Former students of Fr. Foster’s courses in Rome and Milwaukee, friends and alumni of the Paideia Institute, and all who love the Latin language are all welcome to attend.

This week-long reunion event will include classroom sessions reading Latin texts, conversational Latin sessions sub arboribus, as well as literary day trips to sites around Rome. All sessions will be moderated by Latinists who are former students of Fr. Foster. The weekend will culminate with a memorial event featuring the dedication of a Latin inscription honoring Fr. Foster in the garden of the Teresianum Monastery where he lived and taught for over 40 years.
