Course Description: Join Prof. Kardan for a close reading of the exciting and tragic second book of the great Roman epic, which contains the most influential ancient account of the fall of Troy.
Level: Intermediate to advanced, intended for students who have mastered Latin grammar and have read some ancient Roman poetry or prose.
Textbook: R.G. Austin's Oxford edition of book 2, with commentary, available in reprints from other publishers. Other commented editions of the first six books are also acceptable.Sections capped at: 5 students. If the course is sold-out, please fill out this waiting-list form.
