We need your help staffing two new Teaching Literacy with Latin sites in New York City!

Elementary schools PS 12 in Brooklyn (430 Howard Ave.) and PS 53 in the Bronx (360 E 168th St.) are interested in partnering with the Paideia Institute to offer their students our free after-school Latin enrichment program for the remainder of the school year.

We are looking for several energetic, affable volunteers who enjoy working with elementary school students and are passionate about expanding access to the classical humanities to lead programming on a weekly basis. Volunteers must be available on Wednesdays at 4:00 PM for PS 12 (Brooklyn) or on Thursdays at 2:30 PM for PS 53 (Bronx), and be ready to start ASAP.
