The Paideia Institute Press is pleased to announce its plans to publish The Pope's Latinist, a biography of Fr. Reginald Foster, O.C.D., by John Byron Kuhner.
Fr. Foster, known to his students as "Reginaldus," served as Latinist to four popes and taught Latin in Rome for four decades. John Kuhner, a student of Fr. Foster's and the former editor of In Medias Res, has written about Reginaldus for years, and interviewed him extensively before his death in 2020. You can read some of John's work here:
