Iter Musaicum Bostonianum

A Latin Scavenger Hunt at the Museum of Fine Arts

Sunday, May 6th, 1:00pm-3:30pm

 

High school and college Latin students in the Boston area are invited to experience Latin as a living language at the Paideia Institute's Iter Musaicum Bostonianum. Participants will compete in small teams to complete a Latin scavenger hunt by interacting with Paideia's Latin-speaking staff members stationed throughout the Greco-Roman galleries. Winners will receive prizes! 

All Latin enthusiasts are welcome! Students will be divided into groups based on experience. Latin teachers and professors are encouraged to attend with their students to participate and learn about active language pedagogy.

Details

The Museum of Fine Arts is located at 645 Huntington Avenue in Boston. Participants should plan to arrive at 1pm to register and collect admissions tickets. The event itself is from 1:30-3:30 pm. 

Registration

The cost of the event is $30/person and includes admission to the museum. Participants should register by Monday, April 30th.

A limited number of scholarships is available for students with financial need.
