The Paideia Institute Rome Prize

Scholarship to Living Latin in Rome High School

The Paideia Institute Rome Prize enables outstanding high school students with financial need to attend Living Latin in Rome High School with full tuition and airfare covered. Winners also receive ongoing support in the form of SAT/ACT tutoring and college admissions counseling. Since 2012, Paideia has partnered with a number of classical schools, including Brooklyn Latin School, Boys' Latin of Philadelphia Charter, Washington Latin Public Charter School, to provide scholarships to their Latin students. Like all of our programs at Paideia, these scholarships are made possible through donations by individual supporters.

Marguerite Jelinek is a rising senior at The Brooklyn Latin School.  In addition to Latin, she has taken three years of Ancient Greek.

I'm Kyle Roberts from Boys Latin High School of Philadelphia. I've been studying Latin since the 6th grade. The mythology and culture of the Ancient Greeks and Romans has inspired me in many ways, especially in my creative endeavors. Latin has pushed me in many directions I never thought I would've gone down, and here I am now. After all the years I've taken Latin as a class, I've grown to appreciate and love what it helps show the world.
