Alexina Aron graduated from University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2016 with a Master's in the Art of Teaching Latin. She then completed the Rome Fellowship with the Paideia Institute. Since then, she has taught Latin at both the middle and high school level and is currently building a spoken Latin community in San Antonio.
Mallory graduated from Yale with a double major in Classics and Humanities. As an undergrad, she studied in Rome under the auspices of the Berkeley, Biddle, and Woolsey Fellowing. In a delightful merging of her eclectic interests, Mallory wrote her senior thesis on Bob Dylan and Vergil. Currently, she is an actor and writer living in New York City. She enjoys tutoring middle and high school Latin, when she has the time.
Claire Cunningham is the Marketing Manager for The Paideia Institute, as well as Managing Editor of In Medias Res. She has a degree in Art History from UC Berkeley, and her love of Greek statuary is what brought her to Paideia's door back in 2013, when she worked as an intern. She then continued with Paideia for several years directing its European programming, eventually leaving for a couple of years to finish her MA in English Literature at the Università Ca' Foscari. When she is not helping manage In Medias Res or assisting with other publications, she can be found working on her own independent writing projects.
Begoña Cadiñanos graduated from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 2002 with a B.A. in History. From there she earned a Phd in Archeology at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, her subject of study was the afterlife of Alexander the Great’ figure in Rome and his propagandistic use. Also she has a Master's degree in Classical Philology from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and Universidad de Alcalá, and Title of researcher in the program of Phd Ancient History and Classical Philology within the program Cultures in Contact in the ancient Mediterranean, from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona and The Universidad de Valladolid. Presently She is independent researcher, she continues study the Alexander figure and the cultural afterlife of mythology through the video game.
I graduated from Harvard College in 2009 with a degree in Classics and from BC Law in 2012. I served as attorney and a captain in the Office of the Army General Counsel from 2012-2016 and then clerked for the Honorable Bruce M. Selya of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. I am now a litigation associate in the New York office of Skadden Arps LLC. I am happy to talk to any young classicists or aspiring classicists about careers in the law or the military.
