A LATIN COURSE FOR YOUNGER STUDENTS
April 5th - May 28th, 2021 (weekly lesson)
Elementa Online is an online course in introductory Latin for elementary and middle school students using Paideia’s Elementa curriculum. The program includes eight weekly, hour-long live classes with an instructor and a small learning pod of other students. Topics covered include Latin vocabulary and grammar as well as Roman history and mythology. In addition to the weekly classroom sessions, the program includes online access to instructional videos, quizzes, and other learning materials.
This program welcomes elementary and middle school students from the ages of 8 to 12 years old who wish to learn Latin,
and by doing so improve their English literacy. Students will be grouped with other students at a similar age and experience level. For this session, we will host separate classes for beginner students and students who are continuing through the Elementa curriculum from our fall and winter sessions.

"As a professor of Latin and Greek, I have a lot of experience both teaching and taking language courses. In signing my 8-year old son up for introductory Latin, I wasn't sure either how engaged he would be or how much he would benefit from the class. I came away thoroughly impressed by the quality of instruction. My son absolutely loved it and also learned a great deal. I would highly recommend this class to any interested parent."
