COURSE DESCRIPTION
Latin for Younger Learners is an online course in introductory Latin for elementary and middle school students using Paideia's Elementa curriculum. The program includes ten weekly, hour-long live classes with an instructor and a small learning pod of other students. Topics covered include Latin vocabulary and grammar as well as Roman history and mythology. In addition to the weekly classroom sessions, the program includes online access to instructional videos, quizzes, and other learning materials.
This program welcomes elementary and middle school students from the ages of 8 to 12 years old who wish to learn Latin, and by doing so improve their English literacy. We host separate classes for beginner students and students who are continuing through the Elementa curriculum from our previous sessions.
