Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Paideia Institute is able to offer numerous scholarships to its 2016 summer programs from the Reginald Foster Scholarship Fund.
How to Apply
The requirements for all scholarships are the same: applicants should email a PDF copy of their academic transcript and a statement of purpose explaining why they feel they deserve a scholarship to email@example.com by March 1st, 2016.
A letter of support from a teacher or colleague will be accepted, but is not required. Scholarships are awarded for academic merit and financial need.
Institutional Member Scholarship
Separate scholarship funds are reserved for students and teachers at Paideia’s member high schools and universities. If your school is not yet an institutional member of the Paideia Institute, consider asking your administration or department head to join our institutional membership program.
The Amy High Scholarship
Given in honor of Amy High, a Latin teacher and former student of Reginald Foster, this award provides a full scholarship to the five-week Living Latin in Rome program. Preference is given for participants pursuing a career as a high school Latin teacher.
