Alexina graduated from Florida State University in 2014 with a B.A. in Music and a second major in Latin. From there she earned an M.A.T in Latin at UMass Amherst, where she realized her absolute love for the creative, meticulous, and spontaneous art of teaching. At the 2016 CANE conference, Alexina presented a teaching unit on race relations in antiquity with a focus on the Greco-Roman attitude toward Ethiopians. Alexina attended Living Latin in Rome in 2015 and was a volunteer for Living Latin in New York City in 2016. She then served as a Rome Fellow at The Paideia Institute in 2016. Afterwords she taught Latin at a school in Arizona for a year and just recently moved to Austin, Texas.
