Cupid and Psyche

Cupid and Psyche

Course Description: The story of Cupid and Psyche is first told by Apuleius in The Golden Ass. It tells the story of how Cupid fell in love with a mortal woman, Psyche, but wouldn’t let her see him, even after they were married. When she spied on him so that she could look upon him, he fled back to the palace of his mother, Venus. Psyche must then complete multiple dangerous quests to prove herself to Venus and Cupid to win him back.
