Course Description: This course is a continuation of an online reading group focused on the works of Dante’s Divine Comedy. Participants read and discuss the text of Dante in Italian, making reference to commentaries in Italian and English. The course practices slow reading, covering approximately 30 verses of poetry per week. The group is currently reading Canto V of the Purgatorio.
