Course Description: We pick up our reading of the Iliad in the midst of one of its most famous aristeiai, that of Diomedes, starting with one of the most famous examples of a hero being rescued by the gods, Aeneas. In this Greek reading course, we will cover the majority of book 5 of the Iliad, about 600 lines or so. While this is an ongoing Homeric reading group, new participants are always most welcome.
