Course Description: Can virtue be taught? Should we trust experts to govern us? Should teachers be paid? Explore these still-important questions and others while savoring the wit, drama, and beautiful Greek of one of Plato’s most famous early/middle dialogues.

Level: Intermediate to advanced. The course is intended for students who have studied Greek grammar and have some experience reading Ancient Greek authors.

Textbook: Instructor will provide materials.
