Course Description: Join veteran Telepaideia instructor Jay Kardan on a journey with Vergil's hero Aeneas, from his landing in Italy and encounter with the Cumaean Sibyl to his meeting in the underworld with his dead father Anchises and his vision of Rome's future greatness.

Level: The course is intended for students who have studied Latin grammar and have some experience reading Ancient Roman literature in the original.

Jay Kardan is a retired professor of classics who holds degrees from Swarthmore College and Yale University. He has taught Telepaideia Latin and Greek courses for many years.
